This Norwegian songstress has the rare ability to emote with minuscule musical accompaniment using her voice as her weapon of choice.

I first heard her song ”You Will Never Know” over on yvynl. I couldn’t believe it was a live recording. Literally flawless. When I delved deeper I found the beautiful track “Your Heart Is A Weapon.”

“Ticket buyers who used Ticketmaster between Oct. 21, 1999 and Oct. 19, 2011, can expect a refund next year.

In a proposed class action settlement, the ticket website is being asked to refund $1.50 for each ticket order — up to 17 orders — to customers because Ticketmaster profited off the dubious “processing fees,” Business Insider reports.” —Billboard

Dreams Blood Diamonds

Mike Tucker is a 21 year old DJ turned producer. He’s worked with Das Racists on their newest album Relax and is also studying video game design in Vancouver.

Tucker describes his music as, “A mix of juices— Tropicana orange juice and a little bit of off-brand pineapple juice. I guess you could call it generic-brand pineapple-wave.”

Above is “Dreams” the track that first got me hooked on him a few months ago and below are two more little gems for your ears. You can really hear all that “Tropicana Orange Juice and off brand Pineapple” he’s speaking about in “Hearts” whatever that means.
